Collection Story (300 words)¶
Most mattresses sold in the UAE were designed for cooler climates. They were built for European winters — with materials that trap heat, hold moisture, and compress within a few years of regular use. By the time they reach a Dubai home, they're already working against the environment they're asked to perform in.
The Natural Harmony Collection was built the other way around.
We started with New Zealand strong wool — sourced from 250+ farming families across the Tairāwhiti region, processed by Wise Wool's fifth-generation Hansen family in Te Poi. NZ strong wool is not a luxury marketing claim. It's a clinically tested thermoregulation system: 139% better moisture transmission than synthetic alternatives (Bangor University, 2026), 22°C overnight stability regardless of ambient temperature, and 95% thickness retention after 80,000 compression cycles (SATRA/NZWTA). For Dubai's 38–42°C summers and 60–80% humidity, this isn't optional performance — it's the baseline requirement.
For the Premier and Signature, we added Mongolian cashmere — sourced from Gobi Corporation's network of 4,000+ nomadic herder families, certified to the Good Cashmere Standard. Two hemispheres. Two ancient fibre traditions. One mattress.
The cover is Tencel Lyocell — EU Ecolabel certified, 50% less carbon and water than conventional production, woven to extend the thermoregulation system from the core through to the surface.
Every mattress in the Natural Harmony Collection is assembled in Sharjah, UAE. Regional assembly means faster delivery, local warranty support, and a supply chain built for this market — not retrofitted for it.
Three SKUs. One standard: natural materials, verified provenance, and the science to prove it works.
Material Showcase¶
🐑 New Zealand Strong Wool¶
130-year Hansen family legacy. 250+ farming families. NZFAP certified. Zero pesticide residues. The backbone of every Natural Harmony mattress — clinically proven to regulate temperature and moisture in hot climates.
🤲 Mongolian Cashmere (Premier & Signature)¶
Gobi Corporation, Good Cashmere Standard certified. 4,000+ nomadic herder families across the Mongolian steppe. The comfort layer that makes sleep feel genuinely different.
🌿 Tencel Lyocell¶
EU Ecolabel certified. Derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp. 50% less carbon and water than conventional fabric. The breathable outer layer that keeps the thermoregulation system working through to your skin.
🔬 Low-VOC Foam Core¶
Structured support without off-gassing. Zoned pressure relief. Engineered as a foundation for natural materials — not a replacement for them.

FAQ (10 Questions)¶
Q1: Why NZ wool instead of regular wool or merino? NZ strong wool (31–40 micron) has higher crimp and greater fibre diameter than merino — making it specifically better for bedding applications. It has superior compressional resilience, longer lifespan in mattress use (10–20 years vs merino's 5–10), and clinically proven thermoregulation performance. We use Wise Wool's WiseLayer™ — an engineered product that enhances these natural properties further.
Q2: Is the cashmere actually necessary, or is it just marketing? It's functional. In batting format, cashmere fibres create a thermal buffering layer with exceptional softness and temperature modulation at the sleep surface. On the Premier and Signature, the cashmere layer sits between you and the structural wool layers — you feel the cashmere first. It's a meaningful material difference, not a label claim.
Q3: Does wool get hot? I thought wool was for winter. This is the most common misconception. Wool is a hygroscopic fibre — it absorbs moisture as vapour (not liquid) and releases it as the environment changes. This process actively regulates temperature in both directions. Bangor University's 2026 study showed wool maintained 22°C overnight compared to 13–15°C for synthetic materials. It's cooler in summer, not warmer.
Q4: Is the foam safe? Yes. We use a low-VOC foam core that meets equivalent standards to major international certification frameworks. It does not off-gas formaldehyde, ozone-depleting substances, or regulated phthalates. VOC emissions are below 0.5 ppm.
Q5: How long will it last? The Essential is warranted for 10 years with an expected lifespan of 10–20 years. The Premier is warranted for 15 years. The Signature is warranted for 20 years. These are not marketing figures — they're based on SATRA compression testing (95% thickness retention at 80,000 cycles) and NZ strong wool's documented durability profile in mattress applications.
Q6: Is it suitable for Dubai's climate specifically? Yes — this is the entire design premise. Most mattresses in UAE retail channels were designed for temperate European climates. The Natural Harmony Collection was engineered specifically for 38–42°C ambient temperatures with 60–80% relative humidity. Wool's continuous thermoregulation system (not reactive, not cooling-gel-dependent) is the correct material response to Gulf sleep conditions.
Q7: Where is it made? The wool comes from Tairāwhiti, New Zealand. The cashmere (Premier/Signature) comes from Mongolia. The Tencel is produced by Lenzing AG, Austria. All mattresses are assembled in Sharjah, UAE — which means local delivery, local warranty service, and a supply chain built for this region.
Q8: What certifications does the collection hold? Wise Wool: NZFAP (NZ Farm Assurance Programme), zero pesticide residues (NZWTA tested). Cashmere: Good Cashmere Standard (GCS). Tencel cover: EU Ecolabel. We are pursuing additional certifications including RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) and Oeko-Tex for future production cycles.
Q9: Can I try it before committing? Yes. All Natural Harmony mattresses come with a 100-night trial. If you're not satisfied, we'll arrange a free collection and full refund. Visit our Festival Plaza showroom in Dubai to experience the collection in person before purchasing.
Q10: How does it compare to Avocado or other premium natural brands? Avocado sources Himalayan wool from India — strong provenance, but no climate engineering for UAE conditions. Their supply chain is US-based with 120+ day lead times to UAE. We offer NZ wool (superior compressional resilience for bedding), Mongolian GCS cashmere (equally traceable), Sharjah assembly (90-day delivery, local warranty), and the same provenance depth — engineered specifically for where you live.
